Kicking off her week with some physical fitness, Reese Witherspoon was spotted at Physique 57 in Beverly Hills this morning (March 14).

The “Sweet Home Alabama” babe sported a makeup-free complexion and a black outfit as she finished up her Pilates class.

In related news, Reese is featured in a new set of still photographs from her upcoming film “Water For Elephants.”


Ms. Witherspoon stars alongside Robert Pattinson in the 1930s-set movie. She told press, “I am so lucky. He's so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup. I mean, he's just so good looking and he's a really nice person.”

Its opening day of April 22nd cannot come soon enough, but luckily a few more shots of Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon in “Water For Elephants” have been released.

In one of the stills, the handsome “Twilight” actor leans in to kiss his “Legally Blonde” babe co-star and in another, Pattinson embraces the petite Witherspoon while place his hand on the small of her back.

In an interview with MTV News, Reese gushed about Rob. "I'm not gonna lie. He's a very, very handsome man. He's sweet and loving and has the nicest family...He's a very sensitive soul."

Reese Witherspoon is backing cosmetic firm Avon’s new empowerment charm bracelet, which is being sold for $8 in the UK to raise funds for domestic violence charities Refuge, Women’s Aid and Unifem. The product also marks the centenary of International Women’s Day today.

Reese, who is an Avon Global Ambassador and Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation for Women, said: “Although the problem may seem insurmountable, there are ways for women and men everywhere to help bring an end to violence against women across the globe.

“The Avon Empowerment Bracelet is a simple, but powerful, way to raise funds to reduce violence against women. As a woman and as a mother, I urge you to join me on this very special anniversary of International Women’s Day to end this epidemic by wearing and giving the bracelet to friends and family.”

To date, Avon’s empowerment jewelry has helped raise over $17 million for domestic violence charities worldwide.

The two toned, strapless column dress oozes elegance, and Reese has added a touch of colour to her Oscars look with emerald drop earrings and coordinating cocktail ring. Diamond encrusted cuffs add the all important bling.

Held at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the "Four Christmases" actress dutifully made her press rounds while gearing up for presenter duties at the Tinseltown ceremony.

You may or may not be able to see from the pictures below, but Reese Witherspoon has bruises too. For those of you who haven’t read the book and don’t want the story spoiled, I won’t tell you how they got their bruises.

Robert Pattinson must be on a break from shooting ‘Breaking Dawn.’ I’ve heard that re-shoots on movies are only done when there are serious concerns about the movie, but I hope that isn’t the case with ‘Water for Elephants’!

BAM! We have rep confirmation! As INO reported yesterday, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are engaged. Reese’s rep doesn’t give any details, but did verify that Jim Toth liked it so much he put a ring on it, and added,

“They are extremely happy.“

And I am happy for them. Nice to know that Reese never gave up on love and marriage after all she went through with Ryan Phillippe. Jim Toth seems like he is blending in well with the family.  I bet the kids are excited!

The actress recently opened up about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe. She told ‘USA TODAY‘:

“I don’t have anything to hide. I don’t feel shame or embarrassment for the things I’ve gone through. What experience have I had that millions of other women haven’t had? And men, too. There’s nothing rarefied about my experience. We’re all just people.”

I just LOVE her attitude! Reese Witherspoon – who was photographed hanging out with boyfriend Jim Toth yesterday – also admitted that she isn’t opposed to getting married again.

“I don’t think about the marriage thing as much. But it would be nice. I believe in it. I really do. It kind of redefines itself for you. I’m more clear, or realistic, about what it is.”

“I can’t even watch playback of myself on a movie. McG (the director) was showing me some footage of This Means War, and I just went apoplectic. I couldn’t talk, I started to cry.

She’s also like Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson in that she doesn’t watch ANY of her own films!

I don’t watch any movie I’m in. What’s enjoyable about that? It’s horrifying! I’ll see it in a dark room one time with my managers, who I’ve been with for 18 years, and we’ll talk about it for 10 minutes afterwards – and that’s it…”

“I’ll just focus on something stupid, like, ‘I hate my laugh. Why did I smile?’ Sometimes I look at myself and think, ‘Dude, I have the biggest, goofiest smile on earth.’”

Did you know Reese Witherspoon is a ‘Twilight‘ fan? She admitted it to USA Today. It must’ve made her experience shooting ‘Water for Elephants’ with Robert Pattinson even more interesting!

“I’m not gonna lie. He’s a very, very handsome man,” Witherspoon tells USA TODAY’s Donna Freydkin.

“The fervor and madness and girls waiting at 5 a.m. on a set in the middle of nowhere just to see him,” recalls Witherspoon, of their shoot. “He’s sweet and loving and has the nicest family. Kristen (Stewart, Pattinson’s girlfriend) is really sweet, too. He’s a very sensitive soul. He worked really hard. He looks great in the movie, too.”

This actually wasn’t their first meeting, though. Reese and Robert also worked together on the 2004 movie ‘Vanity Fair.’ The change between then and now must’ve been quite an experience for Reese .

Reese Witherspoon is Glamour’s January cover girl and opened up about having more children, being really lucky in love and cooking pancakes on Sundays.

On how getting older makes her feel sexier: “I think as a woman, you get older, you feel more confident in your sexuality. You’re not as intimidated by it, not as embarrassed by it. Sexuality and femininity is an accumulation of age and wisdom and comfort in your own skin. I feel better—so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I am calmer; I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.”


On women in Hollywood: “There’s always going to be somebody younger or sexier. That’s why I like to say, and it’s become my famous line, ‘Funny doesn’t sag.’”

On having more kids: “I would love to have more kids. Kids are the best part of my day. I don’t wake up to make movies. I wake up to hang out with my family.”

On how her goals have changed since making Legally Blonde: “My ambition has sort of broadened. I’m more interested in literature, art, public policy. And I’m really interested in doing more philanthropic endeavors.”

On her life: “I’m really, really lucky. I’ve got a lot of love in my life. I’ve got great friends. I have two great kids whom I make pancakes for every Sunday. I’m very blessed.”

On making romantic comedies: “I love romantic comedies. I watch them all the time. I love all my fellow female romantic comedy queens, like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Katie Heigl. I also think that the questions romantic comedies ask about men and women are universal.”

Reese's next movie due in theaters is "How Do You Know", but she has several "in production" projects listed on her iMDb page. I wonder if she and Ryan Phillippe try to schedule their movies so they aren't both working at the same time - for the kids?

Random trivia - did you know that Reese's full name is really Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon? I know a lot of actors use different parts of their names, but we're so used to their "stage names" that it sounds "odd" to be reminded of their given names.
