Joan Collins Rushed To Hospital On Oscar Night From Too Tight Dress

Joan Collins Rushed To Hospital On Oscar Night From Too Tight Dress

Thinking of squeezing yourself into that gorgeous but too-tight dress for a big party? Let Joan Collins Oscar night emergency be a lesson to you. The former soap star had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance because she wore a dress that was too tight.
Joan Collins claims she had a “Victorian swoon” caused by the skin-hugging dress she wore to the Vanity Fair party at the Sunset Tower Hotel
Joan Collins told reporters, “We went to the hospital and they did all the tests before the doctors told me I was absolutely fine and released me. The truth was, I made the wrong decision to wear a very tight dress and had something rather like a Victorian swoon.”
She added, “The good news is, I am in good health and feel fine today.”
Goodness! I’m glad Joan’s feeling better, but I never would’ve thought a dress could make someone feel so faint they had to seek medical treatment. At her age, though, it’s definitely better to be safe.

I wonder if Jennifer Aniston is snickering somewhere (since Joan is okay, after all ;) ).

Joan Collins Shares Her Thoughts on Being Ultra-Thin

Joan Collins recently told us that in her opinion, ‘people eat way too much’ – today, the veteran star is back with another quote:
“What dismays me… is the emphasis now on women who are excessively thin, both in magazines and on TV. I think that is terrifying.

“I know a producer who, when there were two actresses up for the same role, and one was a little heavier about the hips, said, ‘No, she’s too fat’ even though she was much better for the part.
“It’s impossible, if you’re over 25 or 30, trying to get down to be extremely thin. I still remember the pain of slimming down for a film when I was in my 40s, when I had to subsist on a meagre 850 calories a day. I could still do it; a couple of boiled eggs, a tablespoon of tuna, quite a lot of lettuce and a tomato. Anyone can do it but why should they? Life is too short and food is too good.”

Joan Collins: ‘People eat far too much’

Joan Collins: ‘People eat far too much’

Joan Collins: People eat far too much | celebrity quotes

Dynasty star Joan Collins (who recently said that Jennifer Aniston isn’t beautiful, just cute) has something to share:
“People eat far too much these days and I’m very aware of the penalties of putting on weight. The other day, I went into a pub with my daughter Tara and they had an All You Can Eat brunch for £4.99. I asked Tara, ‘Is that for coffee?’ ‘No, Mum,’ she said. ‘It’s for the whole thing.’ Well the ‘whole thing’ was a piece of steak, two eggs, chips, tomatoes, sausage, bacon…
“I was horrified! if you eat junk, you’ll look like junk. People say, ‘It’s not my fault I’m fat, it’s my glands.’ It’s not, it’s greed.”
… says Joan in Hello! Magazine.
