A while ago, Adriana Lima told us that she went on a liquid diet, followed by a protein diet to lose the baby weight. That sounded pretty strict, so it’s good to know that these days, Adriana also incorporates occasional treats in her diet (but continues to work out hard):

On eating candy:

I need the energy. I work out a lot, I work out every day. I do jumping rope and boxing. Per day, I use 1000 calories. So I do need to eat a lot and have all that protein, all the shakes, in my system. And I need a little candy! Now it’s gonna get more intense. I go there every day for an hour and a half!

On her gym routine:

AL: I do jumping rope, I do shadowboxing. I do boxing. I do a little abs, and little squats. I don’t use any weights at all. Everything I do is with the body, your own weight. The only thing I may use is a jumping rope.

Also on the runway were hotties like Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jessica Stam, and Lily Aldridge.

And providing the musical entertainment for the gig were Katy Perry and Akon, while hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton turned up for the VS festivities - which air on December 30th at 10pm on CBS.

The ladies of Victoria’s Secret have always been a welcome sight, and earlier today (November 10) the Angels were busy getting ready for tonight’s big event.

Hotties like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Selita Ebanks, Jessica Stam, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton all gathered at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City to prepare for the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.


Ms. Ebanks told press, "I am wearing the amazing, this amazing bra that is like if you have no boobies it gives you boobies, but I have boobies so now I have these gigantic breasts, but it's like, guys, k the bra works, it works."

Also in the house will be Katy Perry and Akon, who are both scheduled to perform at the shindig this evening.

She’s desired by men the world over, and Adriana Lima is nothing short of amazing in the new Victoria’s Secret catalog.

The lingerie lady poses in a series of sexy pictures wearing the hottest new looks from the unmentionables company.

In prepping for the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Adriana had to take extra steps because of her recent pregnancy.


She explained, “I always change my diet constantly every year I do something different, and this year it had to be exceptional because I just had a baby. So I had extra weight that I put on, and also my body was completely different — I felt like my bone structure just changed completely. I really had to work in a different way, so I did a few different things.”

“I started with a liquid detox and then, after I did only protein . . . I went to a nutritionist — everything is followed by a doctor. It’s not that I just decide on my own, ‘I’m doing this! I’m doing that!’ No. I have a nutritionist, and he does a series of exams, breathing, blood and everything else. And from there he sees how my metabolism works. If my digestion is fast, what type of food makes me bloated and not — all of these types of things . . . Food-wise I eat like anything green, any green vegetables grilled or any type of meats grilled, like four ounces of anything, for lunch and dinner. Between that I have either a shake or cereal bar.”
