Robert & Kristen's Memorable MTV Smooch

It’s what their fans desired to see, so it comes as no surprise that the awkward onstage kiss between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at last year’s MTV Movie Awards has made MTV’s top five favorite RPattz moments.

In 2009, the actors won their first Best Kiss award and the Edward Cullen actor leaned into the mic and announced that he had to take the gum out of his mouth.

He and his Bella Swan beauty stared at each other as if readying for a kiss, but when they closed their eyes, leaned in, and brushed noses —that's as close as they got before Kristen yelled, "Thank you so much!"

A year later in 2010, the famous couple took the stage once again to accept the same award, yet this time, they actually locked lips, though a bit awkwardly.

Of the not-so-smooth kiss, Pattinson told, "I had the best ideas last night. And I was telling everyone, 'Listen, just leave it to me, I've got it all under control.' I was telling everyone all these ideas. I gave them a whole selection and no one thought they were funny, so then we ended up doing something which didn't work."

"Breaking Dawn" Cast Evacuated from Vancouver

 

Taking proper precautions in lieu of the tragic tsunami in Japan, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were evacuated from Vancouver, Canada yesterday (March 10).

The “Twilight” co-stars along with the rest of the Wolf Pack were filming for “Breaking Dawn” in Vancouver’s Island beach area when they were told to leave the region.

Reports say the cast was not in any danger, but for safety measures left the coastal location.

Tinsley Korey, who plays Makah Emily Young in the series, tweeted, ‘They’re evacuating us 4 a tsunami warning. If this…is my last tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz.”

Good news Kristen Stewart fans, it is being reported that the actress is in final negotiations to play the title role in “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

According to reports, the “Twilight” babe is working out some kinks before making the official announcement.

Last month, it was rumored that Selena Gomez was also being considered for the part, but Gossip Cop is confident that Stewart is the only in the running for the role.

Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen are also set to star in the film.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart apparently cut a rug last night at a pre-Oscar party at Chateau Marmont. The Twilight stars reportedly danced the night away and went "nuts" to the musical stylings of DJ Jesse Marco, reports Us magazine.

The rumored couple "definitely kissed a few times" during the intense action on the dance floor, reported a source.

These two have been busy filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver and apparently are back in LA to attend the Oscars tonight. We can't wait to see what they're going to be sporting on the red carpet (Kristen wore a black dress to the party last night), but they probably won't walk the red carpet together...

Hollywood was hopping this awards weekend, and stars like Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere, and Scarlett Johansson also stopped by the Chateau Marmont, while other stars hit up Soho House, Madeo, and more for pre-Oscar parties.

The main event is tonight at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Don't miss it!

It’s that time of the year again- the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards show is just around the corner, and the 2011 hopefuls have just been announced.

Kristen Stewart will compete against Miley Cyrus, Ashley Judd, and Emma Watson for the Favorite Movie Actress trophy.

Additionally, Jack Black has been invited to host the gig, making his third appearance since 2006. He told press, "Anyone can host something once. But if they ask you back a second time, that means they liked the way you did it. And if you host a third time, that means the first time wasn't a fluke, and it means you did good two times. So the third time, well - that's the real achievement."

Certainly doing quite well for themselves, the stars of "Twilight" all made the cut in Vanity Fair's list of Hollywood's 40 most powerful players.

Offering up the who's who rundown in their March 2011 issue, VF places Taylor Lautner in 9th ($33.5 mil), Kristen Stewart at 13th ($28.5 mil) and Robert Pattinson in 15th ($27.5 mil).


As for the cream of the crop, "Avatar" producer/director James Cameron came out on top by grabbing the no. 1 ranking with a comfy $257 million.

Other high earners included Johnny Depp in 2nd ($100 mil), Steven Spielberg in 3rd ($80 mil), Christopher Nolan in 4th ($71.5 mil) and Leonardo DiCaprio in 5th ($62 mil) while Jennifer Aniston fell into the 18th slot with $24.5 million.

On the downside of her job: "There’s no way to eloquently put this. I just can’t go to the mall. It bothers me that I can’t be outside very often. And also to not ever be ’some girl’ again. Just being some chick at some place, that’s gone.”

On the roles she chooses: “I choose things that are so overly ambitious, and if I can’t do stuff like that, I don’t want to be doing this.”

On setting up a halfway house for runaways: “That would be amazing. Right now it’s the thing I feel most connected to.”

On Bella: "[She's] a character who is embedded in so many people’s psyches at this point. It’s starting to enter my head a lot more than it used to because it’s at the end and it’s come such a long way. I just want the fans of the book to be happy. I don’t necessarily care about anyone else.”

There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding just how far Summit Entertainment will go in the upcoming “Breaking Dawn” and word has it, Kristen Stewart, gets risque.

A source told E! Online, “The script actually has Kristen practically naked in it, a lot.”
 


The Bella Swan actress apparently gets close to being nude, but there will be no nude scenes in the PG-13 flick.

The scenes will be “romantic,” but the script does not call for nudity, and moviegoers won’t see any parts of Stewart they haven’t already,” says another insider.

While she's currently getting "Breaking Dawn" filming underway, Kristen Stewart is also looking forward to the release of her movie "Welcome to the Rileys" - which hits theaters on October 29th.

Having premiered the film first at Sundance in January before taking it to New York City this past Monday (October 18), the Bella Swan babe has said that the role of a runaway-turned-stripper named Mallory is the most personal of her career.

As for the movie's plot, "Welcome to the Rileys" finds a damaged man on a business trip to New Orleans, where he seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young woman.

And while the movie is just being released, it was actually shot prior to Kristen's "Twilight" stardom back in 2008.

Talking with MTV News about the growth which he's seen in Miss Stewart since shooting "Welcome to the Rileys," director Jake Scott said, "She's grown up. She's a woman now."

Adding that he saw the "seedlings" of a mature woman in her from their first meetup, Scott added, "It was an act of courage on her part, especially when you consider she was just 18." (Hollywood Gossip)

Stepping out for an evening on the red carpet, Kristen Stewart looked simply stunning as she attended The Cinema Society and Everlon Diamond Knot Collection’s screening of "Welcome To The Rileys" in New York City on Monday night (October 18).

Taking place at the posh Tribeca Grand Hotel, the lovely actress was joined by co-star James Gandolfini as they boost interest in their new movie - due out in theaters on October 29th.

Meanwhile, Kristen will soon be flying out to Louisiana to join up with her "Twilight" co-stars to begin shooting "Breaking Dawn".

Telling Access Hollywood how excited she is to start up work on the much-0anticipated vampire flick, K-Stew said, “I’m so happy that we’re doing two movies, because we would have had to cut out so much - it would have been almost near impossible. I’m excited about a lot of little bits, but mostly excited about Bella’s [dramatic change].”
